Hey beauties! Today I want to show off one of my past brides! Let's take a look at Beverly's Spring Wedding day!
First, let's talk about how Beverly started her Wedding Makeup Experience with Creative Contour By Carla! We jumped on a phone call in early 2020. (Beverly was originally supposed to host her wedding that summer, but covid forced her to reschedule to keep her friends and loved ones safe.) She found out about CCBC through her wedding venue, The Commons 1854, in Topsfield, MA. Such a beautiful venue!!
Once we finished chatting on our phone call, she was ready to book! We hosted her Wedding Makeup Trial Experience about three weeks later. Her sister, Colleen, attended and had her own Wedding Makeup Trial Experience, as well! They each picked out a lovely makeup look while they sat in my makeup chair.
The bride-to-be was a little undecided about the exact look she wanted for her wedding day, and I was happy to go over a few different color choices and ideas for her wedding day makeup look. It's totally OK to be unsure of what you picture your wedding day makeup to look like. I'm here to help you design your ideal look!
Beverly's result from her Wedding Makeup Trial Experience was a classic, soft makeup look. This style was perfect for her because she doesn't wear makeup daily. She wanted a fresh makeup look that is natural and polished, where she still looked like herself! I think we nailed it! Brides-to-be, I'm always here for you. I want you to feel gorgeous, but also like yourself, if that's what you desire. You need to be comfortable in your makeup look, and not stress about it at all, because you'll be busy enough on your wedding day, having fun!
Beverly also connected me with her hair stylist, and together we coordinated a Wedding Day Beauty Timeline that worked well for her group of 10. Having a schedule on your wedding day really takes a lot of pressure off of you, because you know how the day will start. You'll also know what time it will start, which is the most important aspect! You want to start your wedding day off right with the right team. I was happy to have three separate phone calls with Beverly's hair stylist to connect with her and coordinate the best schedule that catered to Beverly's wedding day timeline, her group's needs, and myself and the hair stylist's specific methods behind how we work.
Fast forward to Beverly's Wedding day! It came up so fast! To accommodate her group of 10, we started at 7:00am. While that is pretty early, we wanted to insure that her entire group would be completed by the 1:00pm deadline so they could take pictures! Speaking of pictures, doesn't everyone look beautiful! What a gorgeous group!
We had the pleasure of beautifying not just the bridal party, but moms as well! Brides, mothers are also an important part of your wedding day. If mothers will be in photos, they should be having hair and makeup done as well. And of course, if they aren't sure, I'm happy to chat with them after you book my wedding makeup services.
Take a look at how lovely the mother of the groom, Robyn, looks at Beverly's wedding! Classic, regal, and just overall a stunning makeup style for her. She enjoyed her makeup so much, I saw her catching glimpses of herself in the mirror! She was checking herself out, and after the wedding she contacted me to say that not only did she feel gorgeous, but she also received a lot of compliments at the wedding! What a compliment!
And did I mention how much fun Beverly and her crew are?! While they were getting ready, it was a party for sure! All of the best party music played, they ate breakfast, and had a champagne toast! That's what I call a great time, for sure!

There is so much to be said about Carla and her talent as a makeup artist! Since the first interaction I was drawn in by her cool, calm, yet bubbly personality! She made everything clear and easy when I was booking her for my wedding day and even when we had to reschedule due to covid again she was so helpful in navigating the date change!
She is really great at what she does! When I went for my makeup trial, my sister came with me and we made it into a day of fun! Carla was accommodating and had us laughing the whole time. Carla was very patient with me since I tend to be indecisive, but she took the time to help me figure out my wedding day look! Leading up to the wedding Carla was responsive with any questions I had about the big day!
The day of my wedding, Carla and her assistant Katy made magic happen! There was a total of ten of us that got our makeup done and they did their best to keep up right on schedule! Again, very patient as my hair stylist was also in the wedding party and was multitasking, but they made sure she got her makeup completed!
I highly recommend Carla for any occasion, she made us all look so beautiful and natural for my wedding day! I will definitely be using her services in the future!
