https://square.site/book/N8QS320J8PJD3/creative-contour-by-carla-boston-maHi beauties! Today I want to discuss my current favorite blushes. As with anything else I discuss, my favorite products are always changing. Today's blog is all about my two (2) favorite blushes. They are two different formulas: powder and gel.
Before I start, I should mention that both of these blushes are extremely affordable. I love to shop for deals (especially when it comes to my personal makeup collection), to see how to get the most use out of my products. I am normally ballin' on a budget, in order to save my money for my makeup kit to spoil all of you, beauties! So let's jump into it!
Powder Blush
My current favorite powder blush is Essence Matt Touch Blush in 20, Berry Me Up! As you can see in the photo above, it is small in size, with lots of color. The size is perfect for on-the-go and travel. The color payoff is great, I apply 2 swipes and get a flirty flush of color.
Of course beauties, remember that this is an affordable brand. So you will get what you pay for. I know that I am pretty clumsy and also sometimes am rushing when I pack for trips, so this product works well for me. I am not concerned about dropping it or losing it when travelling.
If you are looking to spoil yourself with a beautiful powder blush, I recommend NARS Orgasm blush. I carry this blush in my kit and it looks stunning on a decent range of skin tones. A little goes a long way when you swipe on this powder blush. Make sure to apply this blush with a medium-sized, fluffy brush.
Creme or Gel Blush
Beauties, I am putting both formulas together here because they have similar finishes. I personally feel that both creme and gel blush formulas can be used interchangeably and result in your desired finish.
The gel blush that I have both in my personal makeup collection and my professional makeup kit is a fairly new product as of today. It is the Maybelline Cheek Heat in Rose Flush and Fuschia Spark. I personally have Rose Flush in my makeup collection, and have both Rose Flush and Fuschia Spark in my professional makeup kit.
A little goes a long way with this gel blush, beauties, I normally use a small amount and blend with my fingers on my own face. Of course when I work on customers, I use a small amount from my stainless steel palette and buff with a medium-sized fluffy brush. This product is very comfortable to wear. It is a stunning finish for a flirty makeup look.
If you are looking to spoil yourself with a stunning creme blush, I recommend two blushes: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush or MAC Glow Pay Blush. Both options are absolutely stunning. Cream blush is definitely back in style for 2020, as glowy, dewy makeup finishes are back in trend.
So beauties, these are my favorite blushes! Now that you know them, it's time to grab your favorite blush! I'm here to help you shop for some great products and find your perfect blush!
And as always, I am here for you with regards to makeup!
