Hey beauties! Happy #weddingwednesday! Today's blog talks all about Mollie's backyard wedding at her parents' home in Leominster, MA!
Beauties, it was such a fun day!! And a hot one, phew!
First of all, Mollie and I met at event at a bridal shop in The West End, near Mass General Hospital in Boston. I was invited by a friend who was hosting a free bridal event at the new shop! In fact, it was the shop's grand opening night! And what a gorgeous shop it was!! I was mingling with all the guests and vendors that attended. Mollie and her best friend Cassie were the only people I hadn't talked to that night, so I decided to walk up to them and chat!
They were so friendly, we were laughing and laughing! Before we knew it, the event was over! So I handed each lady my card, and encouraged the bride-to-be to give me a call and we can talk over wedding details. About two months later, Mollie contacted me! She was ready to book me for her wedding day.
We hosted her wedding makeup preview about one week before the covid-19 pandemic shut down life as we knew it. Yup, one week. It was crazy! Mollie specifically requested a golden eye makeup style with a plum lip at her trial. It was gorgeous!
And to be honest beauties, time really flew by! Before I knew it, September was here, and by the end of the month, Mollie's wedding was here! It was such a great day! Mollie married her love, Ross, in her parents' beautiful backyard in Leominster, MA. It was the perfect day for a wedding: lots of sunshine! It was also very hot and humid. Rare for that point in September, but it's New England, so you never know what you're getting. I made sure to really get everything just right for each makeup look, because I knew everyone would be sweating for sure. It's a good thing I know what I am doing here! It was such a great day!
