Hey beauties! Check out Robin's May 23, 2021 wedding at The Daniel Webster House!
Beauties, I'm so excited to show you Robin's May 2021 wedding at The Daniel Webster Estate in Marshfield, MA! I mean look at the photo above! Are Robin and her hubby so cute?!
So first, let's talk about how Robin connected with me. We both belong to a facebook group for female business owners called Boston Business Women. Robin posted in the group looking for a makeup artist for her wedding day, which was originally in May 2020. I commented because I had her original wedding date available at the time! And then all my #CCBCClientFam showed me some additional love by tagging me in the comments as well! A huge shoutout to you all for doing that, it means the world to me!!
Robin eventually contacted me and we chatted. Funny story, because her sister was a bridesmaid in one of my 2019 weddings and actually recommended me before she even saw the comments! So sweet! Thank you, Molly for recommending me!! She had a pretty specific look in mind for her wedding day that she just couldn't find anywhere. Her ideal wedding makeup look was a light, shimmery eyelid, with a smokey enhancement. Glamorous for sure!! It's not very often I get to execute this type of makeup look, so when Robin mentioned it, I was happy to apply this makeup look!
Now that we achieved her perfect wedding makeup look, Robin felt relieved! She also had a few skin concerns, which I happily addressed after her trial. It was smooth sailing after that! I explained to her that following a solid skincare routine from now until the wedding would insure beautiful skin and makeup! Thank you, Robin, for listening to this advice!!
And then, like the rest of the 2020 weddings, covid came and that meant Robin had to reschedule her wedding. The pandemic certainly made planning a wedding even more stressful, for sure. But, I tried my best to make it easy for every one of my brides, so they could enjoy every minute! Robin was no exception. She rescheduled to exactly one year later from her original wedding date! And of course, I was available! What a relief!
Before we knew it, May 2021 was here! Time really flew by. Robin got ready with her sister Molly and Mother-in-Law, Kim. What a fun group! They played music, danced, and even ate donuts! Yum! It was certainly a party before the big party! While it was a very rainy day outside, no one noticed because of how fun it was while getting ready! Robin got dressed, and it was time to get married!! What a wonderful wedding day! I tried not to shed a tear before I packed up for the day.
