Hey beauties! I have been dying to write about this one! I wanted to discuss my signature style of makeup with you. Of course, my goal is to always help you find your unique makeup look. However, I have a unique makeup style that I incorporate into your makeup look. I like to call it: The Carla Special. Has a nice ring to it, huh?
So while there are no specifics to my signature makeup style, I have to admit that I like to keep things classic and natural. Of course, don't let that discourage you if you are looking for a touch of glamour. Remember that we work together to create your ideal look!
I like working with this classic, simple style of makeup because it is so versatile. You can wear this makeup look anywhere. You'll always look fresh, beautiful, and elegant. This style of makeup looks good on any age, skin type, bone structure, and skin tone. I simply adjust colors and techniques for each person.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, I could only use photos of makeup on myself while we were under quarantine. Otherwise, I would show off all of your gorgeous faces! (By the way, I can't wait to show all of you off soon enough!)
Let's talk about a few key aspects of my signature makeup style.
Eye Makeup
Eye makeup is an important part of my signature makeup style. I like to enhance your lovely eyes in a subtle, yet appropriate way. Every technique and color on your eye makeup is applied intentionally to enhance your unique features. You can see that I applied eye makeup on my own eyes in order to enhance my unique eye shape.
I always make sure to ask you a few questions about your preferences for eye makeup during your Makeup Experience. If you are unsure of any aspect of your eye makeup, that is totally fine! I will use my expertise to create a stunning eye makeup look that you'll love!
Complexion
Your complexion is another important part of my signature makeup style. I aim to create a complexion of your liking. Of course this starts with the proper skin preparation techniques before a drop of makeup touches your face. It ends with the perfect matching foundation. Sometimes that may involve mixing different foundations or even mixing different colors into foundation to get the perfect match. Part of feeling beautiful involves having the correct match for your skin tone.
The second part of your complexion is coverage. Some of you prefer a light coverage, while others prefer a full coverage. Regardless of coverage level, I strive to keep your skin looking like skin. No cakey finish here!
Lips
The lips are the perfect finishing touch to this lovely style of makeup! I personally love a matte, bold lip, or a glossy, natural lip to finish my own makeup look, as you see below. Of course beauties, the sky is the limit on what color lip you want to choose. If you are concerned about longevity (and you opt not to purchase a lipstick from me, totally fine-- stay tuned for this if you would consider purchasing a lipstick), then I would recommend a custom-made, matte nude lip color to finish your makeup look. Yes beauties, I will try my best to custom blend a lip color that matches your own! This is definitely one of the aspects of the makeup experience that I really love, because you get to look and feel beautiful, while still looking like yourself!
