Hi beauties! Today's #makeupmonday look is all about romance! With Valentine's Day around the corner, this makeup look will make your honey head over heels! Start with a simple eye look with flirty eyelashes, a touch of a flushed blush, end with a dreamy red lipstick!
Let's jump right in!
Start with your skin: use skincare products that will leave the skin soft and supple, with a youthful glow!
How-to create this romantic makeup look:
1. Let's start with the eyes.
Apply your base to your eyelids and set. Apply a shimmery eyeshadow onto your mobile eyelid. Take a dark color-- such as a dark chocolate brown, something that contrasts the shimmer greatly-- and apply on the outer corner of your mobile eyelid and blend.
Take a matte eyeshadow that is 1-2 shades darker than your skintone and apply in your natural crease. Apply a highlight to your brow bone-- you can apply a light, shimmer eyeshadow, or highlighter of your choice! Buff all eyeshadows. Finish eyes with eyeliner and a flirty pair of eyelashes.
2. You can apply eyeliner to your bottom eyelid, and/or inside your eyelash line, totally up to you! Apply concealer where necessary on the under eye area. Set concealer.
3. Move onto your complexion.
If you have liquid or cream foundation, don't be afraid to mix a drop of highlighter into the foundation before you apply. Once the products are mixed, apply foundation onto the face-neck area.
Remember this is a flirty look, so skip the contour. Apply a bright, pinky blush, to amp up the flirtation! Depending on what type of foundation you use, you can either use a creme, liquid, or powder blush. The more flirty the finish, the prettier the result! If you'd like, add a touch more highlight on your cheek bones.
4. Finish the rest of the face and move onto the lips. Now beauties, here's where you finish the look with romance! Time to rock a beautiful red lipstick! Apply a true red lipstick. (Lip liner underneath is totally fine here as well!)
