Hi beauties! You may have seen teasers about this on a few of my blog posts, but I am now offering Virtual Makeup Lessons! That's right, now you can learn how to do your makeup from the comfort of your own home!
I have recently gotten a lot of requests for makeup lessons. While we are living in such an uncertain time, virtual makeup lessons are a convenient option, because I cannot travel to your location. Enjoy a fun 1-hour makeup lesson with yours truly! I will discuss everything from skin care, makeup, the best brushes, and we will end with a hands-on lesson! That's right, I will apply my own makeup, and you will mirror me. Just grab your makeup bag and laptop, I'll do the rest!
Skin Care
Having a solid skincare routine is crucial for beautiful makeup. If you're new to my blogs, you will be learning a lot in the future! Because your skin the canvas for makeup, you must care very well for it. I will teach you my easy AF routine during our lesson. (Of course, once you are able to, please schedule a facial with a practicing esthetician to reap the best benefits of skincare and have a formal skin analysis.)
Makeup
Beauties, this is what I've done for a living for the past 7 years. And while there are no formal rules for applying makeup, there are certain techniques that work well for each individual. It is my job as a makeup artist to make sure that you apply your makeup to compliment your bone structure and facial features. This is the best way to ensure you look great everyday!
All you need is your makeup bag! We will discuss each product in your makeup bag and I will show you how to get the most use out of every product. I will also try my best to make recommendations so you know what products work well for you.
Brushes
Yes beauties, we will go over brushes during your makeup lesson. I will discuss how to use the current brushes you have. If you don't have any brushes or want to purchase new ones, I will point you in the right direction. Remember, the goal is to look great everyday, and brushes will help you achieve your desired makeup look.
I will demonstrate a variety of brushes, how each one works, and what products and techniques that will work best with. I know it's a lot of information, but you'll feel like a pro during our lesson!
Cleanliness
Yes beauties, it is very important that you keep your makeup products and brushes very clean. Keeping your makeup products and brushes clean not only ensures a longer shelf life, but also that you keep your skin cleaner. I will discuss techniques how to maintain clean makeup products and brushes.
Clean makeup products and brushes are often overlooked for personal products. I want you all to understand that from here on out, you must keep your makeup products and brushes clean. You'll thank yourself later!
Lesson Summary
After our lesson is finished, I will send you a detailed summary of everything we discussed. I know that our 1-hour lesson will be jam packed. I want you to feel like you can do this (because you can, duh), even when it feels like a lot. During class, you will learn via a hands-on approach, but I know that because it's a lot of information, it can be overwhelming to remember everything. No worries there. I will provide a full summary of our lesson, including links to product recommendations, and full steps for each technique we discuss.
The Rules
1. Booking & Payment
It's time to book your VIRTUAL MAKEUP LESSON! Booking your lesson is super easy. You simply select your appointment in the online system. Once approved, you'll receive your welcome email. Then you will receive your agreement to sign digitally. After I confirm your signature, I will charge the card on file for the full amount and setup up our calendar appointment! All you have yo do is accept!
2. You Must Have Your Own Makeup Products
Please understand that in order to have your makeup lesson, you must have personal makeup products. If you do not have any makeup products, we will use your appointment as a consultation and I will help you shop for the appropriate makeup products!
3. You Must Have A Stable Wifi Connection
This one is implied, but I figured I would mention it anyway. Because I am conducting virtual makeup lessons over video chat, please make sure you have a steady connection to reap the benefits of our lesson!
4. Find A Quiet Space At Home
I know sometimes this can be difficult, especially if you have a large family. Try your best to find a quiet room in your home. This is the best option so you have a chance to really listen, try the techniques, and also you can ask me all of your burning beauty questions!
