Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let's get into the good stuff.

Yes, beauties, it is true! Multitasking while putting on your makeup is not recommended. (Surprise, surprise!) No matter your makeup routine, when you apply your makeup, it forces you to slow down and focus on yourself. Even if it is just for a few minutes! This is so incredibly important for us. The other aspect of focus is that it makes you literally focus on yourself. You have to give yourself your full attention when putting on your makeup. The result is a full cup, and a beautiful makeup look!

So this aspect is not necessarily something people would think of when they apply their everyday makeup, but it's true! You can take some time to indulge in creativity when you apply your makeup. As a creative myself, it's fun to choose out colors, find the right tools to apply my makeup, and try out different combinations that work well for my features!

The creative aspect behind choosing my makeup style and colors every time I apply fills my cup in a way that makes me feel whole. It allows you to express yourself in a different way.

Yup, that's right! You get time to focus on you, beauties! When we have to sit down, and focus on applying our makeup, we get time for ourselves! Time for ourselves is a vital piece of self care. Even just those few minutes really mean a lot. Take the time for you!

This one is self explanatory, but it is really fun to apply your makeup. When we have fun, we feel good. That's exactly how it should be when we wear our makeup! When you feel good, that energy ripples to the outside world with every interaction you have. Others feel it, trust me. Having a little fun each day makes it all worth it!
