Hey brides! Phew, it certainly has been awhile since I have written a blog for ya! Well I am BACK and ready to go for 2019! Let me start by saying that we should all have a wonderful year! And for my 2019 (and on) brides: You need to LOVE your bridal makeup, so make sure you book early!
Now that I have said that… why?!
Let me first discuss the importance of booking early. Booking early is such a smart decision brides, because then you have a chance to find your ideal makeup artist! You know that you want to look your absolute best on your wedding day. Well in the world we live in, anyone can edit photos to look perfect. However, being a makeup artist is more than just showing pretty pictures of brides! We have knowledge and know what looks and colors work best for you! You will gain an idea about makeup artists by starting your search early! Once you have narrowed down your search, you’ll have time to do a trial. I cannot stress the importance of doing a bridal makeup trial!
Now that you’ve done your trial, you have time to decide. Wedding planning is stressful enough—makeup should NOT be on that list! You should not be stressed about your wedding makeup at all! Booking early will help relieve some of that stress because you’ll be confident that you took the time to find the right artist to create your special look!
Okay, so you know to book early. Now for the important part: the makeup! Brides, you need to LOVE your bridal makeup! Here’s why: besides that this is your face (duh!), you want to look back at your wedding photos and remember how great you feel!
So how will CCBC help with that? Great question! I believe that each bride has a special look that is just uniquely hers! You may love a bright red lip, or maybe a fuller lash, and of course beautiful, fresh, glowing skin! I know that you need to look in the mirror and see YOU. Almost like a You 2.0!
I always ask that you take a look around for some inspo pictures so you can have an idea of what you think your special look is. And it’s totally OKAY if you can’t find it in pictures. After all, it’s unique to YOU. I know in the end you want to look like yourself. You want to look in the mirror and see you in the reflection! You want your wedding guests to recognize you (and compliment how beautiful you are of course)!
